I know they had it rough before Christ came. God wasn't even communicating with men. he used vessels and prophets instead. But for good reason though. Adam and Eve betrayed Him after He gave them everything. he really didn't have to send Christ to redeem us. But out of love, He sent His only begotten Son as a sacrifice for our sins because no one else could've done it. Just so we can have hope. Christ was God in the flesh and it's amazing.
