Mindfulness can play a big role in transforming our experience with pain & other difficulties; it allows us to recognize the authenticity of the distress & yet not be overwhelmed by it.

هَبني صمتاً فأغلبُ به الليل جرأة

Meditation practice is how we discover basic goodness and learn to cultivate bodhichitta. With this view, practice, and activity, even the most mundane situation becomes a vehicle for awakening.

If the mind falls asleep, awaken it. Then if it starts wandering, make it quiet. If you reach the state where there is neither sleep nor movement of mind, stay still in that, the natural (real) state.

What is constant? Is the mind anything more than a conglomeration of thoughts? Where is the mind apart from thought? If there is no thought, can there be a mind? They cancel each other out, do they not?

Sadhana means the practice to closest to the GOD (Baba) and a Shivir means an environment in which the sadhakas get the opportunity and guidance to do sadhana in a perfect manner................ i think.

Meditating means bringing the mind back to something again and again Thus we all meditate but unless we direct it in some way we meditate on ourselves and on our own problems reinforcing our self-clinging

Realization is not about you, the wave, realizing it is ocean. The ocean realizes itself in you and reveals itself to have never been just a wave. Nothing changes except the falling away of a false belief.
