For God used our predecessors to break away those negative societal connotations like racism for the most part and now we see the real issues. These issues that we can't say, "Ay, they have a problem" or "that person can fix me" if we are being real and truly honest with our selves. The only ones who can "fix" us is ourselves in a sense. Of course, satan is ultimately the culprit to blame but since Christ died for us, we can CHOOSE if we let him use us or not. Of course, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is here to save us from our inevitable fate which is the lake of fire but we must receive!
