The first Hard Rock Cafe opened in June 1971 in London England The first restaurant had eclectic decor but it eventually started displaying memorabilia The HRC eventually started expanding in 1982 and it now has 145 restaurants In March 2007 the Seminole Tribe of Florida purchased Hard Rock Cafe International Inc And all related entities for almost 1 billion Inspite of such popularity they do not franchise them in the US
