Henry Robert Bobby Pearce was an Australian-Canadian sculler who won the gold medal in the single sculls at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam and the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles He won the 1928 race even after stopping to let some ducks pass along the way
